Can I take the HTMA test from anywhere in the world?
Yes, absolutely! We ship at-home collection kits worldwide. The US, Canada, and Europe are fully covered with direct shipping. Do I have to cut a lot of hair?
Not at all! The lab only requires about 125 milligrams of hair, which equals roughly 1 tablespoon (or a light teaspoon) of hair clippings. The sample is taken in small, thin snips from the back of your head (at the nape of the neck), so it is completely hidden and invisible once your hair is down or styled.
Can I do an HTMA if my hair is dyed or color-treated?
Yes, you can! However, for the most accurate results, you should wait 4 to 6 weeks after your last hair dye/chemical treatment before collecting your sample. This allows fresh, untreated root growth to emerge so we can measure your true, unaltered mineral levels.
Can I test my gut microbiome or hormones alongside my mineral test?
Yes, absolutely. Many clients choose to run a GI-MAP (gut health) or DUTCH test (hormones) alongside their HTMA for a complete 360° view of their health.
